I have an iphone with a data plan, so I've found twitter to be quite useful- especially with finding out what other people that live near me are doing and easily being able to meet up with them. (Or since I travel a lot, people who see that I've been to a certain place or what not can let me know if they want to meet up...)

I also find that I like getting small fragments and glimpses into people's lives. And also, I use twitter for getting breaking news, the latest coupon deals and such.
